The basic rate for survey of two, 50m by 50m grids is $6,000. This rate includes data collection, data processing, coring, preliminary in-field report prep and final report prep but does not include survey grid preparation (see Client Preparations) or extensive excavation. Rental and Purchase Information:

For various geophysical equipment rental companies, the average cost for the EM38 Instrument ranges from $250 to $950 per week. For the data logger prices average $75 to $225 per week. Often an equipment preparation fee is added. Rental clients are usually responsible for equipment insurance.
